How do I determine what my hair type is and what appointment I should book for?

What exactly is a curly cut?
A curly cut is a personalized haircut performed on dry hair based on how your curls lie on the head. The shape of your head, along with your curl type is considered when performing this service. Every curl is different and needs to be treated as such.

How should I wear my hair when I arrive to the appointment?
Please come in with your hair down and 100% dry. NO CLIPS, NO PONY TAILS. Hair must be styled how you naturally wear it when curly. If your hair is not styled properly for the haircut, you will be charged an additional $50 fee, or will have to reschedule. If there is excessive tangling, there will be a $50 per hour fee to detangle the hair.

What is included in the boot camp?
A boot camp will include a full detox along with a personalized regimen that you can take with you and use at home.

What is a detox and why is it important?
A detox. is a treatment used to remove any buildup caused by minerals, oils, or even products. This service is very important because this will allow anything moisture blocking to be removed to start the process of hydration.

What are the Curly Girl Wash Day Membership details?.
Membership is valid for 30 days from the date that you are billed for this service. It will be tracked and can only be used for 4 wash & go services on any day that has availibility If all 4 wash & go's are not redeemed within the 30 days they can be rolled over 30 days (no exceptions) Membership also includes 10% off retail within the same 30 days. ALL products are included in this deal.
Can I book a consultation?
At this current time there is not a consultation appointment available. Before an appointment I do like to gather pictures of your hair along with products used and their ingredients, also pictures that you are inspired by. Every appointment includes a thorough consultation before we get started to provide you with the best results. Book now
CANCELLATION POLICY
STRICT AND ENFORCED 24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY!
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. Since the services are reserved for you personally, a non-refundable deposit is required. If you do have to cancel for any reason your deposit can be used within 30 days..
- “NO SHOWS” are not tolerated and will result in losing the opportunity to be serviced by Love Our Curls Studio in the future.​
